Cloudi – compact cast-iron stove with hotplate
The “petite cast-iron stove” from Austroflamm, reinvented especially for you
With Cloudi, we have created a compact stove crafted from traditional cast iron that integrates seamlessly and harmoniously into modern living spaces. Cloudi is the smallest model in our Clou stove family, featuring all the hallmarks of a genuine Clou: its organic shape, the iconic round viewing window, and the vibrant interplay of the flames.
A compact stove crafted from cast iron
Cloudi is manufactured entirely from cast iron—solid, durable, and precision-crafted. The round viewing window draws the eye directly to the calming display of dancing flames. The light-coloured firebox lining, made from Austroflamm’s patented Keramott, makes the blazing fire appear even more intense. The door handle and air control knob, crafted from real wood, add a touch of natural elegance.

But Cloudi offers more than just impressive heating power. It also features a built-in hotplate that is ideal for whipping up delicious meals or hot drinks. On the side, there are two storage shelves that can be easily attached or removed—a practical addition for everyday use.
A wide variety of stove models from Austroflamm – the Clou Family
Whether you opt for Cloudi is entirely up to you, or perhaps another stove model from our extensive Clou family would better suit your needs. How about Clou Compact with its distinctive slanting top, or its “near-twin,” Clou Compact Flat with a classic flat top plate? Perhaps you would prefer a stove with cooking and baking functions, or are you looking for a stove with maximum heat retention? In that case, take a look at the other models in our Clou series: Clou Compact Cook, Clou Xtra Back, and Clou Xtra. We also offer two pellet stoves as part of our Clou family: Clou Pellet and Clou Compact Pellet. Last but not least, there’s the Clou Duo hybrid stove which can be used with either firewood or pellets to warm your home, not just your heart!

Stove with a self-locking firebox door made of cast iron
The self-locking stove door of robust cast iron, seals the firebox of the stove securely and effectively. The firebox door on Cloudi is opened via a stylish handle crafted from real wood.
Stove output easy to regulate using a single lever
The combustion air supply is regulated by a single lever – also crafted from real wood – which controls both the primary and secondary air flows. While the primary air fuels the fire from below, particularly during the start-up phase, the secondary air is preheated via air ducts within the stove and fed into the firebox from above. Incidentally, Cloudi also features a connection for supplying combustion air to the firebox from outside. This makes it suitable for use as a stove designed for room-sealed operation.
Airwash system for a clear view of the fire
The preheated secondary air is used for what is known as airwash. This keeps the viewing window of the stove clean, allowing you to enjoy an unobstructed view of the spectacular play of flames in your Austroflamm cast-iron stove.
Connecting the stove
The stove can be connected to the chimney in the traditional way via a flue pipe leading upwards, or "invisibly" via a pipe exiting directly at the rear.
Stove output and efficiency
Boasting a nominal heat output of 7 kW, the Cloudi cast-iron stove is suitable for heating spaces with a volume of 127 m3 to 200 m³. Its firebox lining made from Austroflamm-patented Keramott, which is heat-resistant up to 1200°C, in combination with the sophisticated combustion air flow system, ensures high combustion temperatures, resulting in an outstanding heating performance and a high efficiency rating of 82% for the cast-iron stove.
A stove meeting all testing and certification requirements
Stoves manufactured by Austroflamm produce emission levels well below current regulatory limits and come with all the necessary certification for their operation.
