Our Clou family has been expanded to include yet another model. Clou Compact Cook uniquely combines modern stove design with the practicality of a traditional wood-burning cooker, making it the perfect stove for your kitchen-diner.
Heating and cooking using a wood-burning stove – that’s what Clou does best!
With its distinctive round firebox window, this stove is a real eye-catcher. But Clou Compact Cook isn’t just visually impressive. The firebox door, crafted from robust cast iron, epitomises the superior quality of each and every Austroflamm stove. The top plate on Clou Compact Cook is designed as a hob made from solid 8mm-thick steel. This means that you can do more than just heat your home efficiently using this stove; you can also prepare delicious meals or make a warming cup of tea without the need for electricity or gas. Clou Compact Cook is also available with a guardrail, a typical feature of kitchen cookers.
With a depth of just 38 cm, Clou Compact Cook is a truly space-saving stove that offers a breathtaking view of the fire through the large firebox window, despite its compact design. A connection for supplying external combustion air ensures that Clou Compact Cook is equipped for room-sealed operation.
A compact stove with heat storage
Using the optional Heat Memory System – the heat-storage system for stoves developed and patented by Austroflamm – the stove can store and release heat for many hours, long after you last added wood.

Stoves from Austroflamm – high-quality materials, simple operation and distinctive design
The self-locking stove door, crafted from robust cast iron, securely seals the firebox on Clou Compact Cook. The firebox door is opened in style using a handle made of fine, heat-resistant natural wood. A single lever located on the right-hand side of the stove controls the combustion air supply, regulating both the primary and secondary air flows. The secondary air is used for what is known as the “airwash” system, which keeps the viewing window of the stove clean. This way, you can enjoy the wonderful play of flames inside your Austroflamm stove without any obstruction.
The stove can be connected to the chimney in the traditional way via a flue pipe leading upwards, or “concealed” directly at the rear.
The firebox lining made from Austroflamm’s patented Keramott, which is heat-resistant up to 1200°C, combines with the sophisticated combustion air system to ensure high combustion temperatures, thereby guaranteeing an outstanding heat output and a high efficiency level of over 78% for the stove.
Two things speak for themselves: Austroflamm stoves have emission levels well below all current limits and are fully certified and approved for operation.
Boasting a nominal heat output of 6 kW, the Clou Compact Cook stove is ideal for heating rooms with a volume of up to 165 m³.
