A stove with minimal space requirements and a wide view of the cosy fire – that’s Clou!
Clou Compact is slightly more compact in size and generates slightly less heat than its big brother Clou Xtra – yet a stove with an exceptional design and compelling quality is exactly what Clou Compact is too. And with its large, round viewing window, Clou Compact showcases the play of flames quite unlike any other stove. It shares its technology with its brother Clou Compact Flat, which does away with the distinctive sloping top in favour of a classic, flat cover plate.
A compact stove – available with heat storage on request
Thanks to its compact dimensions, Clou Compact takes up very little space in your living room. With a depth of just 38 cm, Clou Compact is a truly space-saving stove whose oval body still manages to offer a large window and a generous view of the stunning play of flames created by the fire.
A space-saving stove with heat storage
When fitted with the optionally available Heat Memory System – the heat storage system developed and patented by Austroflamm for stoves – Clou Compact becomes a genuine heat-storage stove. Clou Compact is DIBT-certified as a stove suitable for room-sealed operation. This makes Clou Compact from Austroflamm the ideal stove for low-energy homes.
Have you fallen in love with the exceptional design of Clou Compact, but would prefer a stove with a cooking or baking function, or are you looking for a stove with maximum heat storage? Then take a look at the other models in our Clou range: Clou Compact Cook, Clou Xtra Back and Clou Xtra. With Clou Pellet and Clou Compact Pellet we also offer two pellet stoves within the Clou family. And with the hybrid stove Clou Duo, we have an all-rounder that can run on both logs and pellets.
Stoves from Austroflamm – high-quality materials, simple operation and distinctive design
The self-locking stove door made from robust cast iron securely seals the firebox of Clou Compact. The firebox door is opened in style using a handle made from heat-resistant natural wood. The combustion air supply is regulated with just one lever on the right-hand side of the stove, which controls both the primary and secondary air flow. The secondary air is used for the so-called airwash system, keeping the viewing window of the stove clean. This way you can enjoy the wonderful play of flames of your Austroflamm stove without any obstruction.
The stove can be connected to the chimney the traditional way with a flue pipe leading upwards, or “invisibly” directly at the rear. A connection for combustion air supplied from outside the building is also available.
The firebox lining made from Austroflamm’s patented, heat-resistant (up to 1200°C) Keramott combines with the sophisticated combustion air system to ensure high combustion temperatures, resulting in outstanding heat output and a high efficiency level of over 80% for the stove.
Two things speak for themselves: Austroflamm stoves have emission levels well below all current limits and come with every certification necessary for operating a stove.
Boasting a nominal heat output of 6 kW, the Clou Compact stove is perfectly suited to heating rooms with a volume of up to 165m³.
