The Xtra heat-storage system for stoves developed by Austroflamm transforms Clou Xtra Back into a genuine heat-storage stove. This patented technology provides up to 12 hours of blissful warmth using less than nine kilograms of logs. So now heating with wood is even more efficient.

The oval-shaped stove body, elegant details in natural wood and the stove door crafted from robust cast iron will instantly appeal to lovers of exceptional design. But it’s the round viewing window, through which you can watch the dancing flames in the firebox, that really steals the show. Austroflamm’s patented Xtra heat storage system enables you to switch between rapid heat release and extra-long heat retention in the stove simply by moving a small lever. Thanks to 110 kg of additional Xtra heat-storage mass and an overall weight of 325 kg, Clou Xtra Back is capable of storing energy from 9 kg of wood and releasing it as pleasant radiant heat over a period of up to 12 hours. Xtra stoves from Austroflamm – maximum heat retention, high efficiency and unmistakable design

 

The self-locking stove door, crafted from robust cast iron, securely seals the firebox on Clou Xtra Back. The firebox door is opened in style using a handle made from high-quality natural wood. A single lever located on the right-hand side of the stove controls the combustion air supply, regulating both the primary and secondary air flows. The secondary air is used for what is known as the “airwash” system, which keeps the viewing window of the stove clean. This way, you can enjoy

The stove can be connected to the chimney in the traditional way via a flue pipe leading upwards, or “concealed” directly at the rear. There is also a connection for supplying combustion air to the stove from the outside.

The firebox lining made from Austroflamm’s patented Keramott, which is heat-resistant up to 1200°C, combines with the sophisticated combustion air system to ensure high combustion temperatures, thereby guaranteeing an outstanding heat output and a high efficiency level of over 80% for the stove.

Two things speak for themselves: Austroflamm stoves have emission levels well below all current limits and are fully certified and approved for operation.

Boasting a nominal heat output of 8 kW, the Clou Xtra Back stove is ideal for heating rooms with a volume of up to 255 m³.
