It boasts all the features that make its “twin brother”, Clou Compact, so special – but instead of the distinctive sloping top it is designed with a classic, flat cover plate. The technology and performance, however, remain unchanged.
Measuring just 38 cm in depth, Clou Compact Flat takes up very little space in your living room.
Compact stove with heat storage
Thanks to the optional Heat Memory System – a heat storage system for stoves developed and patented by Austroflamm – the stove is able to retain and release heat for several hours, remaining warm long after you last added wood.

Clou Compact Flat has been tested and approved as a stove suitable for room-sealed operation. This makes it the perfect choice for low-energy houses.

The self-locking stove door, constructed from robust cast iron, seals the firebox securely and effectively. It opens by means of a real wood handle, adding a touch of elegance.
Effortless control of the stove output with a single lever
The supply of combustion air is controlled by a single lever that regulates both the primary and secondary air.
Primary air mainly serves to facilitate the heating-up phase, while the preheated secondary air is fed into the firebox from above.
Airwash system for a prolonged unobstructed view of the flames
The preheated secondary air also acts as an airwash system, which keeps the viewing window clean. This allows you to enjoy an unobstructed view of the spectacular play of flames at all times.
Connecting the stove
The stove can be connected to the flue either in the traditional way at the top or invisibly at the rear.
A connection for external combustion air is also provided.
Stove output and efficiency
Boasting a nominal heat output of 6 kW, Clou Compact Flat is suitable for rooms up to 165 m³.
The firebox lining of patented Keramott, which is heat-resistant up to 1200 °C, combines with the optimised air flow to ensure high combustion temperatures and an efficiency rate of over 80%.
