Cook with a wood-burning stove while enjoying a crackling fire— Pallas from Austroflamm

Does the thought of a romantic fire, a cup of tea, and perhaps even a bite to eat sound appealing? Pallas makes all this possible! Pallas isn’t just a charming stove with an impressive performance—you can actually cook with it! With its three hotplates, you can prepare the most delicious meals—all without electricity. Pallas Back even comes complete with a large baking compartment. The classic country-style design makes Pallas and Pallas Back the perfect stoves for a kitchen diner, a second home or a weekend get-away.

The stove for cooking – Austroflamm Pallas

Featuring a design that combines a traditional kitchen stove with a modern wood-burning stove, Austroflamm Pallas is a timeless beauty. During the development phase, it was very important to us to create a wood-burning stove for cooking. The entire top plate of the stove is crafted from solid cast iron, providing the constant temperatures necessary for cooking. The steel casing, finished in a dark iron-grey varnish, gives the stove a modern appearance. Ceramic cladding in various colours or soapstone cladding are also available as options. When equipped with steel cladding, Pallas can be fitted with the tried-and-tested Austroflamm HMS heat storage system for stoves. With 114 kg of additional heat-storage bricks concealed beneath the steel casing, Pallas is a true heat-storage stove that continues to radiate heat for several hours, long after the fire has gone out. The optional drawer beneath the firebox can be used to store all sorts of utensils such as firelighters, etc.

The Pallas stove from Austroflamm – built to last a lifetime

Just like the top plate, the stove door is crafted from robust cast iron and securely seals the firebox on Pallas. The firebox door opens in style with a handle made of fine natural wood. A single lever located beneath the firebox door controls the combustion air supply, regulating both the primary and secondary air flows and ensuring efficient combustion. The secondary air is used for what is known as the “airwash” system and keeps the viewing window of the stove clean. This way, you can enjoy the stunning play of flames in your Austroflamm stove without any obstruction.

The stove can be connected to the chimney in the traditional way with a flue pipe extending upwards (in which case the small, third hotplate is omitted), or “invisibly” directly at the rear.

The firebox lining made from Austroflamm’s patented Keramott, which is heat-resistant up to 1200°C, combines with the sophisticated combustion air system to ensure high combustion temperatures, thereby guaranteeing an outstanding heat output and a high efficiency level of almost 80% for the stove.

Two things speak for themselves: Austroflamm stoves have emission levels well below all current limits and are fully certified and approved for operation.

Boasting a nominal heat output of 8.5 kW, the Pallas stove is ideal for heating rooms with a volume of up to 305 m³.
