Heat and cook with this stove – even without electricity!

Heating and cooking with the new Luca Cook is not only great fun but also eco-friendly and economical. Thanks to the large hob, your kitchen will stay warm even during a power cut! We have fitted the Luca Cook with a double-glazed cast-iron door so that the high temperatures needed for cooking on the stove can be reached more quickly. By the way, this also reduces emissions, making heating and cooking with the stove a real pleasure that’s particularly kind to the environment.

The stove for your kitchen – Luca Cook

It’s precisely because of its understated, user-focused design that Luca Cook is such an eye-catcher. During the development phase, it was very important to us that it could be used effectively as a wood-burning stove for cooking. The double glazing on the cast-iron door ensures that sufficient heat is available for cooking. The entire top plate of the stove is made from solid, 8mm-thick steel, forming a generous hob. A rotary control allows you to switch between heating and cooking mode. During heating mode, the stove releases most of its heat directly into the room, whereas during cooking mode, more heat is channelled directly to the hob. The Luca Cook can also be ordered with an optional railing, typically found on kitchen cookers.

Stoves from Austroflamm – simple operation, outstanding quality and high efficiency

The stove door of robust cast-iron securely seals the firebox on Luca Cook. The firebox door is opened in style using a handle of fine, heat-resistant natural wood. A single lever located on the right-hand side of the stove is used to control the combustion air supply, regulating both the primary and secondary air flows. The secondary air is used for what is known as the “airwash” system, which keeps the viewing window of the stove clean. This allows you to enjoy the wonderful play of flames inside your Austroflamm stove without any obstruction.

The stove can be connected to the chimney in the traditional way via a flue pipe leading upwards, or “concealed” directly at the rear. There is also a connection for supplying combustion air to the stove from the outside.

The firebox lining made from Austroflamm’s patented Keramott, which is heat-resistant up to 1200°C, combines with the sophisticated combustion air system to ensure high combustion temperatures, thereby guaranteeing outstanding heat output and a high efficiency level of over 80% for the stove.

Two things speak for themselves: Austroflamm stoves have emission levels well below all current limits and are fully certified and approved for operation.

Boasting a nominal heat output of 7 kW, the Luca Cook stove is ideal for heating rooms with a volume of up to 210 m³.
