Impressively welcoming – the Uno Xtra storage stove
12 hours of heat storage in steel or soapstone – 7 kW
Did you ever dream as a child of a friendly giant who made you feel safe and warm? Of all our stoves, Uno Xtra is that giant. With its imposing size and impressive heating output, it fills any living room with warmth and comfort. And not just for a short while. Uno Xtra is a genuine storage stove and, thanks to the innovative Xtra heat storage system for stoves, provides up to 12 hours of stored heat. While you enjoy the blazing fire in the evening, the storage bricks of the Heat Memory System absorb the energy then slowly release it into the room as pleasant radiant heat over the course of several hours. You light the fire in the evening and can still enjoy its welcoming warmth the following morning.
A storage stove in modern steel, elegant ceramic or traditional soapstone
What would you like your wood-burning stove to look like? Would you prefer modern steel cladding in a sophisticated iron-grey finish, elegant ceramic cladding, or traditional soapstone? Uno Xtra offers you the choice!
Xtra stoves from Austroflamm – instant warmth from a wood-burning stove and long-lasting heat from a storage stove
The Xtra heat storage system from Austroflamm combines the features of a wood-burning stove with those of a storage stove. A small lever allows you to switch between rapid heat output and the heat storage function of the stove. Thanks to 114 kg of integrated Xtra heat storage mass for stoves, Uno Xtra boasts an impressive overall weight of 260 kg – increasing to 320 kg with the optional soapstone cladding! This additional heat storage mass enables Uno Xtra to store the energy from 9 kg of wood and release it as pleasant radiant heat over a period of up to 12 hours. Uno Xtra is approved for room-sealed operation and can therefore also be used as a stove in low-energy homes with virtually airtight insulation.
The robust cast iron door on Uno Xtra is self-locking and securely seals the firebox. A single lever controls the combustion air supply, regulating both the primary and secondary air flows. The secondary air is used for what is known as the “airwash” system, which keeps the viewing window of the stove clean. This way, you can enjoy the wonderful play of flames in your Austroflamm stove without any obstruction.
The stove can be connected to the chimney in the traditional way with a flue pipe extending upwards or “invisibly” directly at the rear.
The firebox lining made from Austroflamm’s patented Keramott, which is heat-resistant up to 1200°C, combines with the sophisticated combustion air system to ensure high combustion temperatures, thereby guaranteeing an outstanding heat output and a high efficiency level of almost 80% for the stove.
Two things speak for themselves: Austroflamm stoves have emission levels well below all current limits and are fully certified and approved for operation.
Boasting a nominal heat output of 7 kW, the Uno Xtra stove is ideal for heating rooms with a volume of up to 140 m³.
