Offering the rapid warmth of a wood-burning stove & stored heat from the Heat Memory System
An inset fire fitted with a fireplace insert from Austroflamm combines the best of both worlds when complemented by the optionally available Austroflamm HMS heat-storage system for fireplaces. The large firebox window allows the fire to heat the room quickly – just like a wood-burning stove. Meanwhile, the heat-storage blocks attached directly to the fireplace insert store the heat energy then release it into the room as pleasant radiant heat over a period of several hours – just like a tiled stove.
Fireplace inserts from Austroflamm – long-lasting, user-friendly and efficient
A fireplace insert from Austroflamm is noted for its exceptional quality and durability. We take great care when selecting the materials used in the manufacture of our stoves. By implementing rigorous quality control measures, we guarantee that you will enjoy your Austroflamm fireplace insert for many years to come.
A fireplace with self-closing door
The self-closing stove door seals the firebox securely and reliably. The closing mechanism of the firebox door also ensures that the combustion chamber remains airtight. This is why this fireplace insert from Austroflamm is ideal as a room-sealed stove.
Simple control of the heat output
A single lever controls the supply of combustion air, regulating both the primary and secondary air flows. While the primary air stokes the fire from below – particularly during the start-up phase – the secondary air is preheated via air ducts within the stove and fed into the firebox from above.
Airwash for a clean viewing window
The preheated secondary air is used for what is known as the airwash system, which keeps the viewing window clean. This way, you can enjoy the wonderful play of flames from your Austroflamm heating fireplace without any obstruction.
Connecting the stove to the chimney
The fireplace can be connected to the flue at the top or directly at the rear, depending on the installation situation. There is also a connection for supplying combustion air to the combustion chamber from outside. As a result, this Austroflamm fireplace insert is certified and approved as a fireplace for room-sealed operation.
Performance and efficiency level of the fireplace insert
Boasting a nominal heat output of 9 kW, the 65x57 S 2.0 fireplace insert is suitable for heating rooms with a volume of between 164 and 257 m³. The firebox lining, made from Austroflamm’s patented Keramott, which is heat-resistant up to 1200°C, combines with the sophisticated combustion air flow system to ensure high combustion temperatures, thereby guaranteeing outstanding heat output and a high efficiency level of 78% for the fireplace insert.
Inset fire that meets all testing and certification requirements
A wood-burning stove from Austroflamm falls below the currently valid emission limit values and is issued with all the certification required for operating a wood-burning heating appliance.
