Water-bearing fireplace insert – 12.5 kW / Type aquaHEAT 65x51 K
The water-bearing fireplace insert from Austroflamm – aquaHEAT
Would you like to get even more out of your firewood and use your wood-burning stove to supplement your heating? That’s no problem at all as our aquaHEAT is a fireplace insert designed to be incorporated into your central heating system. It quickly emits heat and offers an unobstructed view of the stunning flames created by the wood fire, while the built-in heat exchanger in the fireplace insert supplies heat to your central heating system.
The instant warmth of a wood-burning stove & additional heating
An inset fire fitted with the aquaHEAT water-bearing fireplace insert from Austroflamm combines the best of both worlds. The fire quickly warms the room through the large firebox window – similar to a wood-burning stove. Meanwhile, the heat exchanger integrated into the fireplace insert supplies your central heating system with heat. This allows you to supply additional rooms or a buffer tank with the heat from the fireplace.
Fireplace inserts from Austroflamm – long-lasting, user-friendly and efficient
A fireplace insert from Austroflamm is noted for its exceptional quality and durability. We take great care when selecting the materials used in the manufacture of our stoves. By implementing rigorous quality control measures, we guarantee that you will enjoy your Austroflamm fireplace insert for many years to come.
Water-bearing fireplace for room-sealed operation
The self-locking firebox door on aquaHEAT seals the firebox securely and effectively. The locking mechanism ensures the firebox remains airtight, thereby preventing the escape of flue gases. This makes the aquaHEAT water-bearing fireplace insert suitable for room-sealed operation, even in particularly well-insulated and energy-efficient homes.
Simple control of the heat output
A single lever controls the supply of combustion air, regulating both the primary and secondary air flows. While the primary air stokes the fire from below – particularly during the start-up phase – the secondary air is preheated via air ducts within the stove and fed into the firebox from above.
Airwash for a clean viewing window
The preheated secondary air is used for what is known as the airwash system, which keeps the viewing window clean. This way, you can enjoy the wonderful play of flames from your Austroflamm heating fireplace without any obstruction.
Connecting the stove to the chimney
The fireplace can be connected to the flue at the top or directly at the rear, depending on the installation situation. There is also a connection for supplying combustion air to the combustion chamber from outside. As a result, the aquaHEAT fireplace insert from Austroflamm is certified and approved as a fireplace for room-sealed operation.
Performance and efficiency level of the water-bearing fireplace insert
Boasting a nominal heat output of 12.5 kW, aquaHEAT is suitable for heating rooms with a volume of between 227 and 357 m³. The firebox lining, made from Austroflamm’s patented Keramott, which is heat-resistant up to 1200°C, combines with the sophisticated combustion air flow system to ensure high combustion temperatures, thereby guaranteeing outstanding heat output and a high efficiency level of 83% for the fireplace insert.
Water-bearing fireplace insert that meets all testing and certification requirements
A fireplace insert from Austroflamm falls below the currently valid emission limit values and is issued with all the certification required for operating a wood-burning heating appliance.
