The rapid warmth of a wood-burning stove & stored heat from the Heat Memory System
An inset fire fitted with a fireplace insert from Austroflamm combines the best of both worlds when complemented by the optionally available Austroflamm HMS heat-storage system for fireplaces. The large firebox window allows the fire to heat the room quickly – just like a wood-burning stove. Meanwhile, the heat-storage blocks attached directly to the fireplace insert store the heat energy then release it into the room as pleasant radiant heat over a period of several hours – just like a tiled stove.
Fireplace inserts from Austroflamm – long-lasting, user-friendly and efficient
A fireplace insert from Austroflamm is noted for its exceptional quality and durability. Great care is taken when selecting the materials used in the manufacture of our stoves. Through rigorous quality control measures, we ensure that you will enjoy your Austroflamm fireplace insert for many years to come.
Fireplace with a self-closing door
The self-closing stove door seals the firebox securely and reliably. The closing mechanism of the firebox door ensures that the combustion chamber remains airtight, preventing any flue gases from escaping. This particular fireplace insert is therefore also suitable for room-sealed operation in particularly airtight homes.
Simple control of the heat output
A single lever controls the supply of combustion air, regulating both the primary and secondary air flows. While the primary air stokes the fire from below – particularly during the start-up phase – the secondary air is preheated via air ducts within the stove and fed into the firebox from above.
Airwash for a clean viewing window
The preheated secondary air is used for what is known as the airwash system, which keeps the viewing window clean. This allows you to enjoy the wonderful play of flames from your Austroflamm heating fireplace without any obstruction.
Connecting the fireplace to the chimney
The fireplace can be connected to the flue at the top or directly at the rear, depending on the installation situation. There is also a connection for supplying combustion air to the combustion chamber from outside. As a result, this Austroflamm fireplace insert is certified as a fireplace for room-sealed operation.
Output and efficiency level of the heating insert
Boasting a nominal heat output of 8 kW, the 63x40x42 S 2.0 fireplace insert is suitable for heating rooms with a volume of between
